REUNION WITH THE GUIDANCE OFFICER OF PUBLIC WORKS AND HOUSING
On the afternoon of Tuesday 15 March, members of the Platform + Trolley in Cadiz have met with the Deputy of Public Works and Transport, Paul Lawrence, and the technician responsible for the Santiago Metropolitan Rail Projects Bobo , to answer questions about these projects, knowing its current state and convey the views of the Platform for anything that might mean an improvement of sustainable mobility.
The meeting could learn first hand about the status of both lines, which already is under construction between San Fernando and Chiclana, where this year will start to move, in tests, the new rolling stock, and that is scheduled to cross the bay by the new bridge to Puerto Real. It was also know the current position of the Government of Andalusia in the controversy over the best way to solve the problems of mobility in the Bay, in the city and the center of Cadiz, and especially everything that affects the environment Plaza de Sevilla.
